Bumble Travel mode is a paid add-on locked to one chosen city. Setting your device GPS lets you appear in any city without the subscription.
Set your iPhone’s GPS to another city and Bumble shows you matches there — without paying for Travel mode.
Bumble decides which city to show you in from your iPhone’s GPS, so the fastest way to appear elsewhere is to change that GPS location. Bumble’s built-in Travel mode can do this too, but it’s a paid feature that fixes you in one city at a time. Instead, download Fake GPS from the App Store, search for the city you want to date in — say New York, London, or Tokyo — or drop a pin on the map, and tap once to set your iPhone’s GPS to that spot. Then open Bumble: your profile distance updates to the new area and your stack fills with people there. You can change cities again whenever you like by picking a new pin and reopening the app, all without a Travel mode subscription.
The difference between the two approaches is freedom. Bumble Travel mode is built into the app, but it lives behind Bumble Premium or a one-off purchase, and it parks you in a single destination until you change the setting. Moving your device GPS instead means you control the location at the source — every app that reads your position, Bumble included, follows along. There’s no per-city fee and no waiting between switches.
Because Fake GPS is a native iPhone app rather than a website wrapper, the whole flow stays at three taps: search, pin, set. Pick the neighborhood you want to swipe in, set your GPS, and Bumble does the rest. Save the cities you return to most so jumping back is a single tap.
Whether you’re heading somewhere soon and want to line up matches early, or you simply want to meet people in a different city, changing your GPS puts Bumble’s map under your control — faster and cheaper than the built-in alternative.
Bumble Travel costs extra and pins you to a single city — your own GPS does more, for free.
